Too funny, our RIR rooster has still not found his big boy voice yet, his crow is always a lil different. My kids told me that they thought they heard him say, "Oh my god". Now I thought they were as crazy as they think I am for getting the chickens. Yesterday when we got home from breakfast, as we got out of the truck we heard Red crowing, and to my surprise it sounded just like that, "Oh my God", Although, he can't really pronounce "M's" on account he has no lips, but it did sound pretty close. We all get a good laugh from him...

OOO I am so excited. 2 of those will be mine when they are 8 weeks old!!!!! And I am counting your chickens before they are hatched too

Still waiting for my EE's to lay, 2 are coming out of decent molts and 2 are 23 weeks and counting and no signs, This 1-3 eggs a day is no fun. My mom is in town for the holidays and I have ZERO green eggs to show her Thank goodness for my 2 BR's and 1 SLW for at least keeping us in a few eggs for now. I had to hoard eggs for weeks to have enough for deviled eggs and breakfasts over the Thanksgiving weekend.
