Anybody in socal know where to get large fowl frizzle? I dont like the bantams
Backyard breeders. Usually see postings locally and craigslist. I know of someone who has a bantam frizzle roo and she hatches barnyard mixes from him over her large fowl girls. You end up with a heterozygous fizzle chick hatching from a normal sized egg, so it's got a high chance of being closer to large fowl size than bantam. That's something you might want to look for. You'll have better luck in the spring, of course.

gotcha thank you very much
Unfortunately I have a tail feather plucker in the pen, so 2 of the 3 have no tails to look at. All 3 have identical neck feathers. I'll try to get some photos tomorrow. I'd love some help evaluating them!Nice surprise! Do you have pics of the EEs? should be able to tell by now who is who.
Ok, the pen was super shaded this morning and nobody was staying still. These were the best photos I could get. They all have small red comb. Any guesses on who is laying eggs?Unfortunately I have a tail feather plucker in the pen, so 2 of the 3 have no tails to look at. All 3 have identical neck feathers.
