How old are your birds? You can always wait until spring when there's lots of availability. That way you can get to know your existing flock and see where you really have gaps.
I thought I NEEDED a Dorking for the longest time and now I realize my Faverolle fills that role which opens up a space for a different breed.
My neighbour has a beautiful Olive Egger that's a first generation cross between a crested cream legbar and a partridge penedesenca. She lays green bean green eggs with brown speckles!
