I grew up off of Glenview!! I went to Orchard for fourth grade and then went to BYJH and EHS.
Flower, I have looked for SoCals before and even posted a thread a few months back. Not much response...I'd like to attend, PM me or tell me how to know when they occur.

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a safe and fun day. I am making some changes for the new years and one is a hen that I have that is getting VERY mean to my seramas when we free range. The only reason I have her is for my roo Pharow so it is time for her to go and I would like to find a mellow banty size hen or large serama for my boy. She can be older/ lame / ugly/pretty I really don't care.....just as long as she is mellow [well aside from the normal pecking order stuff]. Pharow is a gentleman and very low keyed. He is 1 1/2 yrs old and a AGF/OEGB mix. I LOVE HIM! Due to a freak accident, he only has one leg but it doesn't seem to keep him down. My gremlins live in a 30ft run that is split in two with a coop at either end. I have 2 roos. Pharow and "the wife" live on one side and the serama hens and roo on the other. And in the afternoons everyone free ranges in the backyard together. Please PM me if you might have a girl and within driving distance from LA.....Thank you.

Anyone in the Big Bear area (within 50 miles) who could give a nice copper blue maran rooster Mix a good home. He is very hansom, nice, good to the girls, but I can't have a rooster. Been trying to hide him for 3 months now

Hi.

I'm Matt and I live in San Juan Capistrano. Presently looking to re-home a 9 week old Welsummer Roo and find a Welsummer hen. Anyone that can help, I would really appreciate it.

Oh gee ! Oh Gosh ! What fun BYCs are ! I sure do wish that I could accommodate and use the Welsummer Rooster and maybe even the Blue Copper Marans mix rooster.... but how many different breeds can one person raise in a small backyard chicken flock. I have made my decision on the rooster for the large fowl and a also for the Bantam Flock and can not afford any additional flocks as tempting as it sound. Come on folks ! There will always be Roosters that need to go elsewhere, use your need to nurture your own family and harvest the friendly but un-necessary males chickens.
