Holy cow, that's is a loooong way to drive. I ain't gonna work fo' anybody! I am near Pasadena. South Pasadena/Altadena, Pasadena is just more general so it's easier for people to see where I am. And nobody knows where S. Pasadena and Altadena are. One human? I don't think I count as a human exactly, but a humanoid chicken lover thing is more like it. Anyway, you don't want me in your car. I'd make a mess of it.

ETA: You ARE just being funny, right?

And I know where S. Pasadena is I used to live in Highland park about 40 years ago.

Heavens no gussie, I was not being funny......I am actually a nice person, just like Dennis sez [and I thank U for the compliment Denis].....I know where South Pasadena is too! Have a friend that lives on Figueroa and 45th street!
Believe me, my little truck is full of shavings, seeds and who knows what else after schlepping birdies and horse feeds all over town. YOU might not want to get in it.....

I just stumbled upon Winnetka Farms (google them), and they're in the west valley (LA). These two guys buy and sell organic chicken feed, and it sounds to me like they know what they're doing.

They buy from Modesto Milling company, and they special order it without soy and corn. I went to the chicken meeting at Winnetka Farms two weeks ago, and they mentioned it.

I may go to the fall meetup, as it isn't too far away from Pasadena (according to google maps!). But Palmdale is quite far from my area. Like 1 hour 9 minutes, or something, again according to google maps. Oh, but it would be fun to meet other chicken enthusiasts! But you see, I am quite young, like under driving age. So a bunch of adults would probably ignore me. And my mum probably wouldn't drive me to either because of the previous statement. Oh well . . .

Too bad you can't drive yet. Because Palmdale meet-up is not that far. I live there and I use to drive to Pasadena to work every day. Imagine that...

Also, no one would ignore you. It is exciting to know that young people, like you, are into the chicken keeping. Wish you would come...

South Pasadena - Land of crazy drivers! No really, people really do drive crazily, especially in the mornings.
I shouldn't be, but I am still a bit skeptical about this offer . . . .

If it weren't for my mother not saying yes the offer because of not knowing you personally and safety reasons and whatnot, I may just have to take you up on that offer .

Sue when i saw that post of the picture of you grinning I actually thought that the picture was me ! I am not kidding ! It is just the photograph as you know if we stood side by side no one would mistake us for sisters.

So in the fall when then next meet up is less than three hundred miles away from Ridgecrest, I'll bring my camera.............ho ho whatcha gona do ? But I do not have a tatoo and will not be getting one. I do wear fingernail polish on my toes though ?

Seriously I want to have my photograph taken with you since you are famous and Dennis also. Hey Dennis bring one of yer coops also. and might as well have some chickens there also. Did i tell you that I have a little hen that must have some Serama in her ?
