Oh man! There are some folks that take the rivalry thing waaaaaay too far! That is horrible! Trust me even when I was a rabid fan I never considered doing anything worse than a little trash talk. So sad to hear that anyone is that hateful!

I was so sad when they let Jerry go. He was not just an amazing player but he was just a Sweet Heart of a guy. Did some really wonderful things for many charities and loved kids and the Bay Area. Folks like him are few and far between.

So picture a wine bar, the tv tuned to the 49ers game, then the Packers....most of the group were women over 60 and all rooting for a different team! I had a man in the gift part of the store shopping and shaking his head at the "bar" crowd talkin' football in a wine bar! LOL

Me....49er fan, even when it wasn't cool and married into the Packers 32 years ago! Go Pack Go....and Aaron Rogers is from our area!

Not that I watched but when they all got back just 2 hours ago (I just got home) my 13 yr old grandson says "So Grandmaaaaa. Do you know how your Raiders did today?" This was as my daughter friend/employee/baby Godmother, and I are talking about our Raiders. I looked at him and said "They probably lost, but I'm still a fan!" OK and if anyone is good at finding ionformation on teams and cheerleaders.............I have been looking for Raiderette picsa from 1977/78. I was told the archieves started after that. I never go to alumni events, but I was a Raidette. I've met people that Had pics of my that I autographed and someone was supposed to bring Bill a poster once so we could have it copied. I never saw any of them again and I went througha little period in the 80s that I was so depressed I cut all my hair off and burned my portfolio, so I have nothing. Good project for a treasure hunter, but I've tried for years and never found a single thing. Oh and before that I was a Cowboys fan and want to cheer for them, so that's how I became a Raider fan. OK that was my confession for the year.

I asked Jean in a post a while back about the chocolate AMs, but at the moment what she has are all bantam. She's working her way up. I love my pullet I hatched out from her birds, so I can't wait till she has LF. Fun but I've just recently decided I like them. I don't really care for red birds and that's what I was used to seeing, but now that there are more of these out there to see I really like them.

So Karen. Are those pretty little Polish just wandering around your place? I know where you live. LOL

The gang had a great time at the game today. My SIL and his twin brother (came up from Orange) took SILs ram head along. Yes a real one. Makayla said "that's just so sad and wrong." Latter she wanted to get one for herself. Usually his whole family drives up and the group is always easily 30+ people. Bad thing is get them together at a Rams game and some beer and my daughters all have to save a couple of the guys from being clobbered. They are never instigating, but just whoppin it up as fans. Someone always has to say something and ....well they all get home alive. LOL Guess today it did really well except for people behind them throwing things at their heads and making smart remarks, but they made it home without any problems. It was kind of cute though watching all the sobber women drive up with the guys all cross eyed and grinning and lots of fun watching the guys trying to unload all the stuff from tailgating. Ahh to be young and ................nah

Ahhh...to be young again.....................you can say that again. My son has been gone alot lately which leave me with 100% chicken duties & I can barely make it sometimes. Yesterday being one of those times. If I had a teenage neighbor kid that wanted a side job I would seriously consider it........
My daughter's new 2 Polish pullets are safely tucked into a growpen all by themselves in the front patio porch. They seem quite content. Aaron & I have to build a "Cute" coop for them for Cari to have them in her backyard. We want them to have an indoors to go too & Cari says it has to be reaallllly Cute too.!!!!!
I lost a Wheaten Marans pullet yesterday about a year & 1/2 old.....No clue. I am thinking of taking her to the Turlock lab.
Kim, my husband was bummed yesterday because he is a Raiders fan too. I know NOTHING about football myself. I choose to save my brain for more important things like "Chickens" thank you..!!!! LOL

I have a teenager, but he's so clumbsy and scatter brained, getting help from him, takes me twice as long. I know one thing though, I need to find a better way to do everything. I also need to find a way to make some money to be able to buy more feed at once. Every time I think I have a good little stash to keep adding to, I need more already, so there goes being able to do that. I slept in after yesterday and I tell ya, I hurt so bad right now and walking outside I was so cold testing the weather, I turned around and came back in. After I run to the school I have to come back and see what needs done out back. I wasn't here all day and when I opened the back door I was attacked by a chicken mob and anything in a pen or cage was bouncing around. I'll probably be done feeding and watering right about time to pick her up. So much for just going to sit and watch at the auction. I need to catch tywo little Marans mixed cockerels and sell them, but won't be back intime to even list them. Put them off till this week too, because I knew I woulnd't make more than a buck on then later in a month. First week works best here. The rest of the month is better for buying.

I can't wait till Makayla is in the 1st grade. That means not cutting out time right in the middle of the day, twice and having to drop her off and pick her up. Morning and afternoon seem so much nicer to me. That being said, I may be getting her little sister. weeeeee She's at the stage that Bill and I used to talk about with Kayla. She wakes up talking and singing and doesn't stop till she drops.

OK I'm be bugged about hair. Gotta get Kayla out of here soon.

Makayla's little friend's mom is getting things together for chicks. I'm sending the 4 that hatched the 1st over to her. I told her if those 2 end up being chocolate, but some miracle, I want to borrow them later, so it's a good way to keep track of them and they were wanting to buy some from me. This way, I know they are low on cash, I'm low on feed money and if they are chocolate I can hopefully breed them back in with my birds. We'll see, but for now the mom was smiling about her chickens. LOL I love when a plan comes together! I know how well they took care of their puppies, so I know my babies will have a great home.

Teenagers are only clumbsy and scatter brained when you are asking them to do something they don't care about. I betcha he's a genius about the things he is passionate about. Mine were anyway.
