My daughter Veronica called before the sherif, actually deputy, got here. She's so mad and sick over this. She wanted to come out and knock the heck out of them tell I told her they are little kids. I'm always on those 3. I've told them before if anything happened to any of the animals or people in this house, I 'd have them arrested. That didn't happen. I think The deputy knows chickens. He had some good ideas and I just have this feeling, he must have or have had them at some time. Veronica still wants to come out and scare the crap out of these kids. My girls give me a real hard time about my birds, but she heard how sad I was and she does love animals and hates that someone would be this cruel.
I've had a weird headache since the neighbor let me know. I was out there for a while, just hadn't gone to check on Clyde, thinking he was playing mother hen, but I kept looking around and thinking, someone was missing. They got my only pullets I had from the ones you and I ordered. A black one and a blue one.
Tomorrow I'm going ot see if I can afford some things he suggested. Means a trip to harbor freight. He told me to put a hot wire out too. He said if anyone asked say I was keeping cats out. I told him about the cats and he said "well, ya might get a couple of kitties, but this is war." LOL He told me about a warning setup. He said it's two bars and runs on batteries. You plug it in and set it higher than the dogs and when the curcuit is broken it alarms in the house. He said it;s like 50 bucks. ouch. But I have to do something.
