CALIFORNIA The Whole State thread

Anyone check this out? I was told ALL birds were destroyed and this person has only 1 post and it's on this thread. I don't want to report someone legit, but too dizzy to check it out.

Hello All,

The Animal Legal Defense Fund is looking for people to adopt the survivors from the A&L Poultry farm, Turlock, CA tragedy. About 2,000 birds are healthy enough to be rescued and homes are now needed.

They are monitoring the case and are considering their legal options to ensure justice for the tens of thousands of birds who suffered a horrific death in this shocking case of cruelty. (There was an estimated 50,000 chickens found starving after they were left without feed for over two weeks.)

If you can support the ALDF in their mission, please visit their Animal Place's adoption page, if you can help.

Thank you for your time and support,
for the animals,
Elisa

Kim, So sorry about all the wrist trauma/drama! So you are having surgery tomorrow? We'll be praying for you!

About the Turlock chickens, I just saw an ad for them on craigslist this morning. They are looking for people to adopt the 2,000 survivors. Here is the link:

Before anyone introduces these A&L birds to an existing flock, they better find out what kind of vaccines these chickens have had and if any of them contained live viruses, etc. It is not a problem if they are not introduced to an existing flock.

just a heads up.

Update. The bone is healing too fast. I've been taking Arnica pellets and I stopped taking it because I found out about the bad set, but the stuff works fast plus it's 3 weeks tomorrow since the break. So again, different hospital. The surgeon they sent me to does legs, so the hand specialist looked at it and she's going to do it but not till wednesday. That means another 6-8 weeks and my chickens and rabbits not organized and moved and no one with half a brain that listens to take care of them. All my smart kids are too far away.

Thank you for the warm welcome. My dad has land out in the country towards Sanger, so I been going coop crazy there. I raise shamos, asils and Thais.
chicken people from fresno! I've only seen other chicken people from fresno on facebook, I follow ccluck but I can never get to their meetings. I live in sanger btw, but most of my chickens are at my sisters in fresno, shes in a county island so I go coop crazy out there. Its nice to know there some chicken people close.
