that sounds like a good ideaKim C & Cheryl,
I was thinking for those of us that have a breed or 2 that are a little unusual maybe we could actually set up a display area with those breeds & information sheets even if we are not showing that breed. Lanae had a table of her Araucanas last year with their eggs & even chicks for sale I think. My son is getting new birds in a few days (Shamos) & he has Yokohamas already. Hopefully I will be getting my Dorkings soon too.
My fear has always been my birds won'r measure up but I have a few that seem pretty nice. Denny is showing severalat Paso Robles the first Saturday in Oct...Oct 6th. I think she said the deadline for entries is the 21st.
I had 2 major back surgeries in March and I finally have my life back! After 4 years I had forgotten what it was like to live without all that pain. I had surgery in San Francisco. Dr Fred Naraghi, I couldn't recommend him more! My husband has stenosis also and will have surgery next year. I've also heard it's a pretty straightforward surgery. Not quite as invasive as what I had but it was worth it in return for getting my life back...be able to finish a thought, make a decision....enjoy life. Hope you get relief soon.Quote:
Ah now that makes a lot of sense, thanks for clarifying.
Sadly we weren't able to do the booth. We were going to have a nice big booth right outside the livestock/poultry buildings with tons of shade. With my spinal stenosis that I'm dealing with currently I've had to put a lot of "dreams" on hold. I'm really hoping to doing it and supporting it next year though

I'm very happy to do something like this as well. I'm sure we can come up with something amazingKaren, I like this idea, if it's possible to do. I'm really looking forward to seeing your Coloreds. I wish that Paso Robles was close enough for a day trip, so that I could go.for Denny.![]()
