thats alot of eggs, I forgot to take a picture of mine but i put about 5 dozen eggs in a home made incubator made for about 3, duds come out saturday. I will however post a pic of my first chicks from my ameraucanas, they're 3 pullets just starting out soI had poor fertility, 6 of 28 developed and 5 hatched. They are the friendliest chicks I've every had, they actually like people. I think i'll take them outside since its so warm.

YAY!! They are so cute!

I have my yellow chicks hatching today. 4days late!! I lost my Sussex roo, but one DIS and I had to hel 2 of 3 out so far. Also have either a balc or blue copper Marans almost out. Humidity was way down this morning and I was going to toss them. So glad I heard peeping!

I have to say that today started out so extremely frustrating and turned out to be so much fun. To top it off a hatch that should have not happened, gave me 4 chicks so I'm happy. Once I get a new phone and a way to take ics I'll post some, but not gonna be to soon.

Ok we need to kick this thread up a notch, so since I was thinking of a prize for our 5k post, I thought I'd offer an idea. And no trying to get it longer with those one word posts. LOL

Sooooooo, I'm going to offer as a prize a Gold Feather membership to the person who posts the 5000th posts.

Is that a good enough prize?

I hatched Heritage RIRs this week. Next week I hatch SG Dorkings and Delawares.

These are six of the new baby's. I will get a video tonight or tomorrow.

awww I was gone when my hatch was supposed to start, I got a couple, but lost a lot. Not going anywhere when this Easter hatch is due.


OK so that's one who likes the prize. If all the MIA members ever come back in I'll see what they think.


Still need info for the pages, so if anyone wants to add to the open ones or needs something added to the others, let me know. I'd like a good list of feed stores and there's plenty of room for more breeder's listings. Shows, meetups ???? Anything?
