You can't put the words "thinning" and "flock" together - that just doesn't make sense to us BYC'ers!!

SunnyDawn, I always put off going to the doctor as well. I have been to many dermatologists and physicians for what I think is PCOS and they have never even brought up that term with me. They just gave me pills. I'm the type of person to worry about little things for a very long time. A couple nights ago I was sleepless because I was worried about taking the bus to an appointment (I haven't taken the buses around here). Needless to say, everything went just fine. Maybe we are alike on that point?

OMG you all have me laughing out loud this morning!!!

ChicksterJo, yea it's funny, I don't think of myself as a worrier(sp?) until I lay my head down to sleep. Then every little thing that I push away during the day comes rushing in and soon my idiotic brain is racing at a hundred miles a minute on every topic under the sun, uh, moon!

Even stupid things that have already passed that I can't do a dang thing about and though I tell my stupid brain to knock it off, I need to save these brain cells for something that matters, it doesn't listen to me. It just goes on its merry way doing what ever it dang well pleases!

Taylor was sure no help. He was there when I got the first 4 birds!

OK OK I have a blue bantam AM pullet. hmmmmmmm

OMG! People I have to stop! Not getting any eggs, paying for feed. No body around here is pulling their own weight. My main problem is coops. Bill never got my coops built before he died and oK I hate to admit this because I used to be really good and making and building things. but with what I had to work with I have JUNK! Looks like the poor areas of Jamaca in my backyard.

There is a 2 tear canary cage I can work with. It's wood, can be divided, but I think I might use it for rabbits or quail.

My real problem is money. I get paid once a month on the 2nd wednesday of the month. By this time of the month I'm broke and I already have to pick up the white Rock pullet, so not like I can trade out on that bird.

I am planting to hopefully cut feed bills this winter. Just still didn't feel like it till now.

I do the same thing. Lay down to sleep and my mind just keeps running at mach 20. I have to physically be exhausted to sleep, so I do things around here and then vegetate online so I can be tired enough to lay down. And if I have to be somewhere or have something inportant to do??????????? NO SLEEP AT ALL! I' ve been so awake I wake up the chickens. Serious!

So Chooklet

You have 2 trios of those mottles huh? Plus yet another little roo..............................................

DARN YOU PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I still had chickens we also built their first coop out of "leftovers" from various projects. Then when we sold all the budgies, we got their aviary cleaned up and the chooks stayed in there through the summer (the wraparound hardware cloth made this coop super breezy and safe for them). Ohh how I miss them!

I will live vicariously through you, wolftracks, so GET MORE CHICKIES!!

I grew up in Oakland in the 70s. You all remind me of the street corner pushers! You're bad. All bad!

Then again if someone misses having chickens and can live through mine?????????

NO! Stop it! I stayed away from them, but chickens???? OMG! This is why I never did drugs. I would have been a big time addict!

Then again. I LOVE Lowrider and these little OEGBs and the cute little MG..........................NO KIM NO!

Actually I have 3 pairs of the mottles plus the AM roo, who would LOVE a little blue AM girlfriend.

PM me if you are interested - I am sure we can work something out.
