I think I have another blue Boy in the bachelor pad out back. I will have to check his wing # to see if he is from the same breeder that the one you have is if you got that one from me too.
I am taking another load of free ranging free loaders in tomorrow but I don't usually stay around. I just basically drive througfh & drop off. The lady that bought the White Rock breeding group did not want the back up rooster. She is working on a project to sex lonk chicks by crossing the white rocks with something barred I think. I am so not into all the genetics.
Those days of rain has made everything a muddy mess around here & I am looking forward to nice weather & having things dry out.
The 6+ hours of power failure has played with my incubator results, I do believe, I still have hatches but they are delayed & slow to complete & that is the only thing I can think of that has changed. Never in over 33 years do I remember having an outage that long. O
ff to fix my SIL enchilada dinner for his belated birthday dinner. Whoever has a birthday gets to choose the Sunday dinner menu & he chose my beef enchiladas rice & beans & I am making strawberry shortcakes for dessert with the new instant mini cakes my daughter gave me the fun & fast recipe for.
Call me Kim if you need that rooster.

This poor little Game chick isn't doing very well at all. I was really hoping he'd get better. My neighbor has seen him, so not upset. I don't know how long he held onto these eggs before I set them. But this chick is barely hanging on and nothing I've done has held. That frustrates me. I think I did better doctoring before I even went through Pre-Vet Med. It sucks. I guess my expertise is dogs and exotic birds.
I need to get some wire over here. I haven't heard what the weather is suposed to be doing, but I need to reclaim my backyard, make room for brooders and get my raised bed planted and another made. Then I have to finish turning the yard and go back over a lot that was turn and grade it this time. Amazing how my brown yard has become so green in all the laces that aren't done.
I have 2 broodies now. Fat Chick was on a mission and one of my Silver Phoenix is hopefully going to hatch me out some more of those. I only have the trio from the Stockton show and I'd like to have at least one if not 2 quads. Mt roos tail feather that I picked u and measured is 30" long. They are so beautiful. Just so flighty that I have to keep them well contained. I want to build a small Hoop Coop with enough height for my roo to let that gorgeous tail hang so I san see it.
Been childless here since Easter. Not sure I want that to change. LOL Just kidding. I mess them, but boy is it quiet here. Well except the occassional crow or egg song.
Think I'll walk over to the auction tomorrow and see what kind of supplies I can come up with.
OH and I need a blue AM roo. I have this other one and I would really like to use him, I'm just still so angry at him over Harley that I'm pretty sure he's going. Funny thing. Most people say AM roos are very friendly and gentle. I've had good ones, but this one and the blue that hatched from the same eggs are not what I want. I want friendly and if I have to chase one down to stop them from hurting another bird, it's not worth it. So if someone has a NICE blue please let me know.
