Ok, iw as wrong, it was plaster of paris. You put plaster of paris and something mice will eat ( oatmeal was suggested) and it binds up in their system. But it wont kill what eats the mouse. I bet if you google plaster of paris and mice it will pop up for better info. I used it last jan, so it was a while ago.I need this info on borax - I am waging full-scale war with the rats but still have lots of juveniles barn owls returning nightly for the food that I leave on their platform. Gee, maybe one of these days the barn owls will figure out that the small rodents running around on the ground are just like the small rodents that I leave for them, only LIVE, and WARM, and oh so much tastier! Sigh. Until then, gotta deal with the rats on my own!
That sounds like a great idea.Idea for a new business - The Crowing Rooster Pest Control. For a low monthly fee people could rent proven rodent-control roosters to take care of their rats, voles, and other unsavory 4-legged house guests. The early morning crowing might also take care of unwanted human house guests at the same time!
Quote: I had noticed your avatar. I can't tell you how close I came to getting a toucan, or a toucanet or an aracari. I did a lot of research on the topic!

Hi, I may be moving to Ripon from Modesto due to a horrible tragedy in my family, but can't seem to find info on the chicken laws there. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Oh, I live in Modesto now. I need info on Ripon.
Thank you Ron, guess I'll have to call regarding the permit fee and how many you can have there. I like the part about no animals running freeOk, it was a bit tough. There are conditions but it looks like you can keep them there.
Here is a link:

They call them fowl and it starts off sounding negative, but it looks like you can. I am not clear on it but it looks like you may have an inspection from animal control and will need a permit.
