Call ahead seating??

The sushi place across the street doesn't do take out orders, after 4:30. If I call and no one is in the restaurant, still won't do it for me. I have to sit down, get my order then when my food comes, ask for a to-go box.

Ridiculous.

But clearly, their sushi is so good, I will go through all sorts of machinations to get it. That's one dish, of which my chickens, shall never partake. Except if they accidentally put salmon roe on it. Dear Lord that stuff is terrible. Like fish-flavored mini-eyeballs. They pop in your mouth and squirt out a fishy goo. Never again.

We had a party of 10 going to Chili's and got the same thing. So we called ahead of time, we all arrived together and waited 45 minutes for a table........
