I putting my call ducks in a large cage in a building with my Seramas can I cover the pen at night with a blanket to get them to be quiet until the nest morning when I uncover them?

There’s a wire bottom they can breathe through there and yeah there loudHow are they going to have fresh air? in a coop there needs to be ventilation how will you make that happen covering the cage? are they noisy at night? do you keep a light on?
I think it would be fine if they are just covered at night and your not using something super thick and blocking all the air flow. The moisture they create needs a way out and it goes up not down.
We need someone who has Calls

Mine are not typically noisy at night with quacking but they do chatter. Sounds like they're telling jokes out there and laughing. Those munchkins must have a lot to talk over. Once my ducks go in I hear them for just a few minutes until they all get settled then nothing until they hear me open the back door. Then they have an awful lot to say.
