Day 26 is tomorrow!!! Time flew by so fast... 7 eggs are in the incubator now, five of twelve didn't work out. @Lacrystol
Can I ask why did you turn it down? I have never touch the temp always adjusted the humdity.. 60 is PERFECT.I turned my temp down to 98... Is that too low for lockdown??? Humidity is around 60%
Mine is due tomorrow and he's already internally pipped, I see yours is a little a head of mine. Let me read the rest of the forums to see where your at.I don't think there is a fan.... Last night I turned it back up to 99 because I think 98 was too low for lockdown
Expect them all to be late, don't worry just yet.I candled them and there is one that has broken through the air sack and is tapping and one that is trying to break through the air sack. The other 5 I didn't see move... I'm worried!!!
NICE to see one broke threw give them more time, Keep him in there so that he can inspire the rest.I candled them and there is one that has broken through the air sack and is tapping and one that is trying to break through the air sack. The other 5 I didn't see move... I'm worried!!!
When you say wobbly are you meaning loose air cell or deattached?? Either way when you place them in the bator keep them in an upright position and shift them slightly once each day

if no fan then it should but up higher 101-102
When the air cell is loose or deattached like that, you want VERY MINIMUM movement. With loose you shift them once a day, with deattached don't shift them at all for at least 24 hours. Keep your deattached completely still and the loose ones shift JUST slightly Once a day.. To much and the air cell won't reattach. So I am on day 27 with my first batch of shipped call eggs. Only 2 made it to lockdown. I'm pretty sure 1 died last night. The other internally pipped at 1:30pm yesterday and I made a safety hole last night before bed. He was peeping inside the shell. I plan on starting an assist this afternoon. I will widen the safety hole and check on veins. Any other tips??
Also I have a new batch of shipped call eggs from duck creek poultry on day 7. Looks like 7/18 eggs are developing. When should I lay them down? Air cells are still a little wobbly on some.
You only turn them once a day? For how many days? I've been tilting mine 5xday. Too much?
Lacrystol, how's that pip doing? Did it externally pip?
X2 on the temps for still air. Also, have you calibrated your thermometer and hygrometer? @Duckie22

Once you have hit the 24 hour mark on your deattached then shift them once a day.
Keep doing this until you start seeing growth it's usually about 4 to 5 days, then you can lay them down.. or continue with your normal process..
he didn't externally pip yet but man HE IS MOVING like CRAZY. AHAHHAHA I'm sooo excited to see him I CAN"T WAIT. ahhhhhhh
