call duck eggs

I had sent you a message. I'll send you another.
You had said in the previous message that you would be selling eggs from your quad (they looked like ancona/magpies). Maybe I am mistaken?

Actually there are ancona calls. They are not a recognized pattern (just like the Ancona standard size is not a recognized breed) but they do breed true and are therefore "real".
Magpie calls are like magpie ducks where they are white with a colored cap, back, and tail.
Bibbed calls are like swedish where they have a colored body and a white bib (though a lot tend to be "mis-marked" where the bib extends to neck and chin, or further down the belly, or is not an even bib).
Then you have ancona calls. These are white birds with spotting like ancona ducks. It is asymmetrical unlike the magpie, come in different colors, and every bird has a different pattern.

The black and white duck on the left is an "ancona" call, the blue splash drake on the right is a blue bibbed (mismarked though as his bib is very uneven)

Ok, maybe a little clarification? I had to look this up as I was also confused as to whether or not BANTAM ducks and CALL ducks were the same.

BANTAMS: These ducks are smaller versions of a large breed. Calls were used in the history of breeding to help get them to a smaller size. But they are larger than a call duck.
Black East Indies and Mini Silver Appleyards are both bantams ducks.

CALLS: These ducks are the smallest of duck breeds. They can be included in the "bantam" class as some are larger than they should be. But true calls have a dwarf gene that makes them so small.

So Appleyards are "technically" not calls. Though I though they were as well as BEI even though I know BEI are larger than a lot of calls.

But calls come in MANY different colors and patterns. Some are recognized, some are not. But the ones that are not don't mean they aren
t call ducks :)

Hi, I live in Alaska and I saw you said you only ship to continental Us. I was wondering if you would consider shipping me eggs because I am having a really hard time finding any. I have hatched call eggs that were shipped up before and they do have a lower hatch rate but it is worth it to me. If you are willing I would love to know when you have more eggs available! Thanks for considering this request!
