I too have banty duck eggs (silver appleyards that could be crossed w/calls) that are sitting under a big fat fluffy buff orpington. Three of them have pipped into air cell. I could hear tapping and peeping from two of them.

Should I run out and mist them and keep them misted?

I had to put them under the chicken last week at wk 3 because one of two hens that were sharing a nest in a non-secure area got taken. I tried moving the other duck and all 15 eggs (one was broken) in a secure pen but she didn't want to sit on them.

What to do?

Put sundown silkies in the search box at the top of this page ,then click on one of the links of the search results,and then click on where it says my web site under her aviator picture then follow her instructions I have another 7 due on Sunday and they are under a chicken and I didnt mist them because I didnt know about it in time so here we go again !!!!!! Just watch when they hatch because my B.O stood on 4 she is so big and they are so small,.I had the green poop in several of the eggs but the ducklings were all fine I think they do it while they are half way out and resting
