Call duck in respiratory distress

Please help. I’m not sure what to do. My call hen (Mustard) was fine when I left but when I returned I quickly noticed she was gasping for air and making an audible squeaking noise. I’m terrified because that’s what my call Cami did before passing away. It’s really bad. I tried massaging her throat, giving respiratory balm and vet rx. I tried putting her in the pool as well. Any suggestions? @Isaac 0 @casportpony can either of you be of assistance?

Not on hand other than vet rx but I can pick up something. The only vet that sees birds near me is about a two hour drive.

I did speak to my regular vet on the phone who said that he could possibly give me a prescription. Is there any antibiotic you guys recommend?

I will get an antibiotic tommorow when the vet opens but is there anything I can do in the meantime?

Well I’ve got some good news. She seems to have improved a bit. She is no longer breathing through her mouth. I haven’t heard her cough in a while either. I’m going to monitor her through the night.
