Call duck quality!

Pics
No kidding.
WTH do you suppose is growing all over their bills?
You think that's just muck or is it literally a growth?
I mean I understand even mine don't look the best in this winter weather but that is outrageous.
Pretty positive it's food slop buildup. Some of them I can't even see nares on!

This is the one I want to get. The guy said she is show quality... I was thinking about seeing if I could just buy her for $50. Anyone have any thoughts? View attachment 3005222
She is show quality. I think. I'd ask him what shows he thinks she'd be winning in that condition.
I mean honestly. The pics of those poor ducks look like still frames from one of those Sarah McLachlan commercials.

🤬
Oh lord. lol, I hate those commercials.

Pretty sure it's just food build-up. I don't imagine they get fresh water often so they race to eat and drink and get it all over them whenever they get water.

Yeah.

I'd probably get some and house them separately from everything else until they are completely in good feather and I knew they weren't sick. They don't seem to be sick in the photos, just in really poor condition.

I would seriously ask him if he thinks those ducks are in good condition. Send a pic of a show duck and then tell him to look at his and explain to you where he sees a $50 duck.
I’m afraid if I keep asking he won’t sell them to me. I really want to help her.. I’m willing to pay the $100.
