I bought four, one week old call ducklings today and one has a hard distended cloaca. It had some white, what looked like gritty ball like discharge around it, similiar to if you dampen powdered clothes soap. It smells pretty bad. It seems normal it runs around and eats and drinks, so do the other three. I mixed a little bit of antibiotics and probiotics in the water to see if it helps. Any suggestions to what it is and what caused it and how to treat it?
