take a qtip and warm water and re wet the membrane.
make sure you wet it good.
also make sure it is not stuck to the duckling. so take the qtip and go around the side of the membrane (underneath it) to be sure it is all free. if not the duckling will not be able to free himself.
if he has been struggling you may have to help him out the rest of the way (when ready)

I can walk you through assiting if you need it.
(I did not hatch any calls last year ) but the year before I hatched around 90 ducklings and every single one was assisted because of a very wonky year for hatching (all around the country). this year I hope the hatches go smoother.

How long has it been zipped? You can wet the membrane but don't start to assist for 24hrs from external pip.

BAD, get some qtips and WARM WATER IMMEDIATELY
