Yup!! I will hopefully be getting my ducklings in the next couple weeks. Plus I will buy some from Tammy when hers start laying!!!

I actually blame all of you. My Anconas are now being put on the back burner.

You do realize when I joined this thread I was needing help hatching ANCONAS and I didn't even have calls.

I am sorry about your little duck.
It is so sad. My cat jumped up on my hatcher early this morning and it and egg #4 fell to the floor. Very sad. Poor little baby didn't make it.:(

Awww. I'm sorry about your last little guy too. Sucks!!! I just hate it because I don't know what happened and I was home and feel like I should have been in there watching so I might have been able to do something. But I fell asleep and he didn't make it. Breaks my heart. The other is still doing ok, trying to pip internally, due to hatch Thur.

Glad to hear that your little with the bump is doing better. Hope he continues on that path.

I put 7 in together from my ducks and also put some in that Diane sent me. I will be checking them in a couple days for veining.

I have 3 eggs collected so far. Hoping to get a couple more before I put them in the bator.

My blue fawn hen is my green egg layer. She has been mating with the snowy drake the past couple days. She keeps getting mad at me for stealing her eggs. After a month or 2 I think I will let her go broody.

Thanks. Glad yours are doing well. My girls are on strike right now I think lol. They're taking time to get used to the new additions I think. I'm sure they'll start up again soon.

Busy busy busy with all the hatchings going on over the next couple of weeks. I want to get a couple wheaten marans, a couple wheaten ameraucana and a few tolbunt polish to add to the large fowl flock. And then will get some more mille/calico cochins from Lori to add to the bantam flock. Should be all set then :)

I may get some tolbunts too. Vera knows someone that has some and she was going to get me some prices.

I am more than willing to share as soon as they come. I only have 1 drake though. I kept 2 white hens for him so hopefully will get a few coming in the summer/fall. They aren't quite 3 months old now. Will have pieds, penciled, buff and silver apricot to share soon if anyone is interested in them.
