We will find out tomorrow!!!! I "cheered" at it and it freaked out, VERY vocal little egg for not being externally pipped yet!!!

I held it up to my daughters ear and she grinned and said "baby". She just started saying "baby" last week so it's cute to see she knows what an egg is. Poor things going to have a complex and refuse to eat eggs when she gets older, LOL.

Yeah- that's my mom. Have fun with chickens!!

Hmm weird. The egg isn't blue it is white. I am really confused. Lol it's still not out, but definitely sounds like a chick. The other egg is not doing anything so I think it is a call duck egg, which is funny because it looks identical to the "chicken" egg.

I never get white eggs. Maggie is the only regular size chicken I have that lays. The rest are bantams. Those lay very small tan eggs. That is a very msterious chicken egg!
