Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Yep, all of ours progressed normally, all the way up to zipping on hatch day but then ran out of energy or something and died. I was checking on mine every 30 min and Lori every 90 min and they were fine on 1 check and gone the next. Hope you're able to catch yours in time.

Hopefully the last little guy will pip soon too and get going with his progress

YES, every 30 minutes or even every 15 minutes. It's very quick when they zip and die. I would help as soon as you see him starting to zip, get that head out..

I know I'm hoping he does too. I'm not worried about my 4 eggs, out of all my own eggs I've only had to help one hatch....but I will Definitely keep a really close eye on them, glad they've gotten this far ok!!!
They do, right when you think OMG, he's doing it. I'm gonna have a baby BOOM, they stop then your like WT.......F???? So if I was you as soon as he starts to crack around get that head out.

That's what I've done with my last 2 hatches. As soon as they started to zip I popped their little heads out. They rested and then finished the rest and are doing great to this day.

So here's where we are with the Experiment Eggs.

I have made a hole in Two of the eggs and sucked out the gooy stuff.

The first one is Three days hole since I have done this, as of today, he is still alive.

Duck number two, he is the one in the picture with the LARGE spacing and a ton of gooy stuff. He's on day Two of the Cotton ball treatment and is still alive.

Lockdown day is Tuesday, Crossing Fingers they make it..
