Call Ducks Finally Hatched

GUYS I JUST TALKED TO HIM (yes all caps im so EXCITED)  it was a total misunderstanding , he has no ducklings avaliable but what he does have are adults that are breeding and laying. So either this weekend or next i will have at least 2 beautiful call ducks, probably  one snowy pair and one pied female. :bun  :cd :duc  :fl :yiipchick :ya  :highfive: :yesss: :jumpy :thumbsup
Please post pics of the cuties when you get a them. Love your excitement.

No but you would be easy to add ;) I would trade some ancona call eggs for some paint eggs! I just hatched some paints and paint showgirls and they are SO DARLING! I've never had silkies before but want to try them out for broodies for hatching my call duck eggs. I realize these won't be big enough this year but I have 6 that I hatched and raised from last fall that I hope will be broody this spring! Only one paint though and I LOVE her. So I would definitely be up for more paints!
I CAN BE ADDED TO THE LIST??? OMG, NOW you got my attention!!!! lol..

You would love my Splashes, the only issue I have with them is they have HIGH vaults and Every summer I have to cut back there head feathers so they can see. here's one of them.

NONE of my Splash Hens can see, they have a Really nice Pom Pom head.. Definitely show quality but I dont show my birds. just breed them.

I have this guy in there coop, he's a Lavender Splash

WHEW, THANK GOD>.......

The big issue I have with my Splash when others try to hatch them, is there Vaults are soooo HIGH that they struggle getting out of there shell and end up not making it out. So I warn everyone BE ready to assist. It's happened so many times, and sad to here "I don't know what happened, he was zipping away and next thing I knew it was gone" lol got to be ready for that...

Are they docile and easily handled I want to get one but somebody told me they are mean
They are not mean NOT at all, They don't care to be held, at least none of mine. Except when they are cold and have icles hanging from there feathers. LOL But usually they are in there own little world.

calls are used to call in the Bigger ducks. But mean, OH no not at all, the only time mine have gotten aggressive is One when the boys want a female, they get a little rough then.... and two when my females decide to go broody, at that time, they LET you know DO NOT TOUCH MY EGGS. I have gotten beak pinched, what I mean is when I would go and check on her eggs, she would take her beak and Pinch my skin, they are very good at it. But they never Smack me with there wings or attack me in any way.
