OK when did you make the safe HOLE?

She had already made a small crack/outward dent in the egg shell sometime during the night, the night before last. Sometime yesterday she made a 2nd tiny crack/outward dent in the egg, right next to/touching the first one. Last night about midnight I just lifted a tiny piece of the shell that was loose to make sure that it was through the inner membrane so she could breathe. This afternoon she made another little crack/outward dent in the egg, this time on the opposite side of the first but still touching it. So as of 12:30 this afternoon she has 3 tiny dents all lined up in a line, touching each other. I'm at work so don't know if there's any further progress

I'm betting baby when you get home!!!!!!! Or tonight :)))))

Actually the safe hole for those that haven't pipped shines light to them giving them a direction to aim for, HOWEVER, it's totally useless if they are upside down, but it's a chance you have to take.  ONCE the safe hole has been made, ONLY give them 24 hours unless they have made progress on there own, IF they have NOT, IMMEDIATELY contact me.  The safe hole is to help them breath, but will also dry them up.  So 24 hours is Incredibly important if there is NO progress..

Give me pics and I can tell if they are upside down or in the correct spot..

Good to know. I never thought about it that way

OK she probably has made quite a bit of progress by the time you get home, IF not let me know Immediately, will get her out safely.

You will have a baby duck TONIGHT. WOOOOO HOOOOOOO

Where are these Holes that she's making?? Are they at the little end, big end? Where exactly? Sounds like maybe in the Middle of the egg, and that would explain why she is not able to make one complete hole to escape. Perhaps because she is not in the correct position to do so.. So she's struggling to hit where ever she can to escape. We can help her though..

They're at the large end of the egg in the airspace. Quite close to the top actually but the 3 of them are in a row (like she's zipping) but they're going from top to bottom instead of around the egg
