I'm soo worried about my little ones today, I hope that hawk got enough to eat and is GONE, if not I will help him be GONE. If I every catch him, he will get a BULLET to the head. How dare him pick on my little babies.. HOW DARE HIM, THIS IS WAR!!!

I feel your pain I lost a bantam hen to a Red Tail a couple weeks ago.

I had hawks circling my ducklings. Picked apart around 10-15 of my bob whites too. So feel your pain....

OMG, HE's BACK!!! Rumpy the tailless duck came back last night. OMG, his chest was SOAKEN wet, I think because he is unable to keep his balance he's not able to fully get the water off his chest is why he was so wet.

BUT HE"S BACK. HAHHAA so I locked him, Sassy and the two babies up. LOL... What a lovely family if they all can get along...

My first call duck egg came today. Not sure which hen laid it or of it's fertile but I'm ecstatic

BRRR. Hope you're having a great time. Here's a pic of the little white call duckling with the few black spots. Her chest and belly are dirty because they made a mud puddle and were playing in it. Not sure on sex yet but if you want I will see if I can make a best guess based on voice this weekend.

Beautiful! Definitely want. Yes if you can make a best guess that would be nice but I'll take it either way. Vera got ahold of you correct? She said she can either grab him/her on the 4th or the 9th I think.

Can't believe how big your babies have gotten!! Keep me updated on the second batch I'll possibly grab one or two from that batch too depending on what colors you have available to sell.

Exciting that you got an egg!! Mine were breeding when I left for IL so will be exciting to see if I have eggs when I get back!

I moved the two babies in with the adults. The adults were great with them! Within a couple days they were all running around like a happy family!
