We hate all the restrictions but it's the people who have caused them and even the good ones have to suffer from the mistakes the bad ones have made. Sorry to hear about your eggs. I hate losing them that far into incubating. Wish I knew why it happened too but I don't.

Thanks it's just so disappointing. I used the same method that I used with lori's eggs and all the ones that developed hatched, so I kinda thought I found my niche. The one that is still alive has externally pipped and is rocking like crazy. Excited to see what color it is, and glad I have the older ones to keep it company!

No I haven't yet. I am going to open them later today. They both look fully developed, but definitely dead. No movement at all.
 
OK so whos the Call Duck Color expert? Someone has asked if you breed two silver's will you end up with Silver's or different colors. I'm not a color coordinator expert, if I was I would have MY MAGPIE.. LOL

Do they smell? Perhaps they are still alive but just weak? I had that happen to me once, I thought it was dead, opened up the egg and OMG, it was still alive. Barely moving but still alive.

No they don't smell. Should I just leave them be then? Or is it better to open and assist? There is literally no movement at all, no response to light, nothing.
