5 Toes?? NO cochins have 4 Toes.  The only one who has 5 would be silkies.

Okay let me catch up to your posts lol. The eggs were a light green.

I'll check the one that doesn't have as good of foot feathering, but the other one has 5 toes, 4 long, and a smaller one on one of the 4.

Waddles are under the Beak, they hanging skin under the chinny chin chin. LOL 5 Toes?? where the heck would the five toes be coming from??? there's NO silkies free ranging??? That just doesn't make sense.. GRRR..

Check out my little Silver Silkie. Hes in the house with Mommy, Mommy had Three babies the other two died because of this weather, I said "that's IT, you are NOT GOING TO LOSE this one". Mommy didn't keep the other two under her. GRRR. But check this little guy out. LOL I'm in love with him..

Too cute!!! Okay, the one without foot feathering has 5 toes. The one with the foot feathering has 4 toes. Neither has waddles yet but they are only 3 weeks old. I'll get better pics later.

I'm gonna have to check the hen who lays blue eggs, maybe she's a mixed silkie, No one in the free ranger should have five toes, My silkies are my super star chickens and each color is in there own coop.. besides my cochin and Mille Coop.. but I do have some Cochin's free ranging.. Because I ran out of coops to separate them by color..

Cochins should also have yellow skin, no black.. that one looks like she may have a black beak... but the crow looking chicken I believe she has black skin and black beak. So it's not going to be full blooded cochin, it will be a mixed cochin but man I wish I knew who was throwing off the foot feathering. Who ever it is should NOT be free ranging..

Oh okay. These guys are just over 3 weeks old. I looked again, the one I took a picture of the comb is lighter than the other one. Also they have 5 toes? Is that right?

I'll try to get a picture of them outside today.

Oh okay. I think it may be a Boy. We will see though!!! It's not going to live with Vera until the ones in the bator hatch so I'll have them another 2 weeks or so.

Awww. They are cute! Love the silkie babies. I don't care for the walnut comb on the adult males but the hens sure are adorable. Your new piggies are cute too. Love the way they squeal.
