See the spotting on the silver Appleyard hen?? That's what they both look like, just ones light and ones more brown.

Do you think they are all growing too fast? My guide to raising ducks recomends adding oatmeal at this point to avoid internal injury and forced growth, which also shortens their life span. I have started them on that mix 3 days ago.

what is the protein of the feed? i used an 18% and added some whole oats.. for all of mine.

Lol silly they aren't too big!! They look adorable and healthy. I follow the storeys guide book as well so you should be just fine!!!

Oh thanks so much! I feel like a first time mom. Always worried about if I am doing the right thing.

I believe the protein in starter/grower is 19% they sell it in the paper bags so no label to read. I will call and find out.
