Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Oh, that one at the top is beautiful! I'm jealous. I need multi-odd colored ducks to keep away from the attention of the hawks. I'm always leery of magpies because of all the white. I'm envious.

Well I don't know if its a unique combination of two of your birds? They have similar patterns so I think they share a mom or dad. And yes they are really pretty. I'm Fairly confident they are both drakes, but I think I'm still one up on hens with my ratio, not 100%. They should start breeding in a couple months, I can send you eggs if you still haven't gotten any like them by that time.

Awe but better than later on. I had one of the 3 quit I'm pretty sure. So down to 2 out of 14 eggs for Wednesday hatch. Lol. Talk about awful hatch ratio. I am done buying (after two more purchases). I'm buying a blue pencilled trio that's drop dead gorgeous.

AND the guy with the magpies 6 hours from me texted yesterday morning and said they started hatching. Waiting for pictures from him. Now I have to convince my boyfriend that its NOT insane to make a 12 round trip for some ducklings. Lol. Cross your fingers for me.

There Father is the Butterscotch, He's the only one with rust colors. The white one with the Black head, OMG, I'm loving that one the most, my guess the female is my bibbed. Love that dark head with all the white. LOL The other one looks like a Spotted duck with different colors on top versus bottom. LOL

Good lord they look soo cool..
