Call Ducks Finally Hatched

There Father is the Butterscotch, He's the only one with rust colors.  The white one with the Black head, OMG, I'm loving that one the most, my guess the female is my bibbed.  Love that dark head with all the white. LOL The other one looks like a Spotted duck with different colors on top versus bottom. LOL

Good lord they look soo cool..

I know, at first when his face started darkening I thought it was dirt, lol. But nope, clearly his markings. The other one, I have no idea, it has so many colors I'm not even sure what to call it!! Besides cool. Lol.

So thank you :) I will gladly send you eggs from them, it'll be interesting to see what offspring they produce. I hope my spotted duck is a female. I want to be able to breed her to them, and to my magpie.

Waiting for my invoice for my pencilled babies. She almost convinced me to buy 5. Willing to cut me a great deal, if she was local I would've jumped on it!!! Here they are:

Why are they called Blue Penciled? I don't see any blue at all?

Probably working like normal people do. LOL

Yep, work like normal folk do ;). I'm usually at the office from 7a-5:30p but on a good day I'll come in at 6a. I've been slacking lately with all the babies hatching and not getting here until 7. I usually take a 1/2 hr lunch somewhere between 1p and 3p and I get online at that time.

Anyway - on the blue penciled, the rumps should be blue on the males and the rest of the "brown" is a blue hazed. The normal penciled look just like the grey pied hens but males will have the splotchy green head and lack the burgundy chest of they grey pied. My blue pair is a blue pied male and a blue penciled hen so you may get either. Her eggs are the white ones. My other pair are the both the normal penciled so should only produce more penciled. I believe they're the ones with the green eggs. This past weekend I did see my blue pied male trying to mate the normal pied hen though. He was not successful while I was out there but not sure if there are other times that he is.
