Call Ducks Finally Hatched

OK  you can't compare your own eggs with shipped eggs, ALL new ball park, are you letting the shipped eggs settle, perhaps you need to let them settle a little longer.  Give them 24 hours if you are doing that already then give them 48 hours.  see if that makes a difference..

Okay no I let them sit 8 hours. I will increase it to 24 hours. I'm bidding on some eggs on eBay so if I get them I'll let them sit 24 hours.

Update, so far one out (I helped) 2 I safe holed are peeping I will open them tonight (safe holed them last night).

The others I suppose are still alive. They rock from time to time, and I see movement but no internal pips so I can only wait. I don't know if I was off on due date? I shouldn't be though I am usually right on. I'll double check that. May need a new temp gauge, maybe temp is low.

I usually do 10 hours or so but occasionally I'll let them sit overnight if I need to push the hatch date out to the next day :)

I think the best thing is to judge where they came from if they took a long trip like from California to Ohio I would let them sit longer, but if it's a short trip like from NY OR PA to Ohio, and this is just an example of course your state would be different, I would give them shorter time to settle..

The sooner the better but you want to make sure they have enough time to settle if the ride was long..
