Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Hi Peach

All last year I tried shipped eggs. I only came close to hatching them. I have 50 eggs in my incubators right now. Next Wed. I should have 10 hatching, then 20 a week after that. My ducks went crazy. I also have one duck sitting on about 20 eggs.

I don't know what colors you are looking for, but with my new drakes I should have lots of colors. If the weather is right, I think ducklings can be sent safely about 2 weeks old. I will post pictures and you can pick some out.

My spotted duck, is still spotted. She is real cute. I named her Mary. I will post a recent picture of her. The others were just dead the next morning. I don't know why. How is your spotted duck doing. If you get the colors you want, you won't have to hatch shipped eggs!

So stop buying eggs Ha ha

My spotted baby is doing wonderful!!! I play with him/her a little everyday!!! He/she follows me around, I LOVE it.

Okay so I just went out an they are still pipping but no lil holes(???)

Give them a little more time. Sometimes they take time to come out. Lacrystol gives hers 24 hours to externally pip I think but I usually only give mine about 18. You don't want to help too early or they will not have fully absorbed their yolk

Thanks Diane!! I am MORE than willing to pay you for ducklings!! I want SPOTS that is all I am currently missing. And black magpie but I am less concerned with that color.

This last batch really had me in tears. They just kept dying one after another and it was just too much.

YOU BETTER STOP WITH THE 18 give them there 24 hours young lady. Your on THERE schedule, not yours. Lol

I had my share of heart breaks, OMG especially with my last hatching. Yek don't want to do that again...e
