Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Those are some beautiful babies Peach! Congrats!

I may have a miracle on wed. One of the eggs still had veins. I checked it this morning, and it is moving! It will go in lock down tomorrow!    

I have decided to use rubber bands for tensioners in my turner experiment, should hold them in good, without the risk of cracking the eggs. I just got back from my 36 hour shift, but I should have it finished today.

Thank you I am keeping one of them and selling the others. A lady in town is coming by tomorrow to see them :/ going to be sad to see them go!!'

I just set 27 call duck eggs today

My calls have picked up laying!!!! Got THREE eggs today!!!!! I have an order going out Monday, and then Lori and Diane if you guys want eggs let me know!!! I'll happily send you some. My incubators are past full!!!

I think I have it just right. Stretchy headbands and rubberbands. Over bolts with a nut on top and bottom. Holds great. No cracked eggs. I'm throwing it in the inkie and see how it does.

Ah I see how you did it that is a really good idea. I think I will try that out too, but going to wait until after the in laws come visit. My incubator is so full it's bursting. I'm already have severe hatching withdrawal and they won't be here until May 22!!!! Next eggs I set will be going in June! Hmmm, or I could do it like that and then I wouldn't have to worry about hand rotating everyday which means I could set more in 2 weeks!!!!! I'm liking this idea...
