Call Ducks Finally Hatched

All my eggs are looking real good in my new inkie. Nine out of ten are developing in the eggs I have been setting. I am getting allot of indie eggs too. My turner modification is working perfectly.  Fingers crossed! :fl   The first batch is due on Easter Sunday. I am getting more nervous as the due date approaches.

I got a new candling light, 76 lumen's. I can see everything now. Wow! what a difference!

Mary's spots are getting bigger and standing out more as her feathers are coming in. Definitely a girl, she is quacking now.

WHOOT!! I have a batch due Easter too!! It's eggs from Tammy so I think all of us are anxious to see how they do.

Mine does not yet quack, so I think my spotted is a boy. The spots really stand out now. I am in love, and wanting more!!!! Can't put eggs in my bator for another couple weeks though!!! But definitely wanting to swap eggs with you.

Did you see my new babies?? I have 3 blues, and what appears to be an apricot dusky drake, and a silver hen.

I got a funny feeling mine aren't going to hatch.. So many people are saying how hard they are to hatch and some with no success that I doubt mine will hatch either :-(

Got some better pictures today. Think I'm going to toss some in the bator.

Lori ill be getting yours in the mail in the next couple days, I wanted to give it a couple days to give you a better chance of getting some eggs from the blues.

I have 4 that look good :) but I have read a lot of places that say they get to hatch day and they don't hatch..

That is because people do not read up on the difficulties of hatching call ducks before they incubate them. So they do not know that call ducks often times need help hatching out.

Many of them would had survived, had people taken the time to research the breed.

So, stay on here, keep us updated, and understand that there's a strong possibility you may have to help the little guys out, if you do we can all help.
