Ok so I'm nerves, I just got a call from a newpaper who wants to do an interview with me on Raising Farm animals.  LOL.  They will be taken video, pics and writing up a story.  OH MAN, what have I gotton myself into?  They found me on the internet
that is cool. We wanna see it.

Sometimes I still have trouble differentiating between a small rouen and a fat mallard. :p
that is hilarious. I once downloaded an enormously plump Rouen hen who was very similar in coloring to a mallard hen. Her girth was so large she had no clearance between the ground and the bottom of her carriage. So cute. And it wasn't as though she was sitting.

Amykins, your eggs show up yet? Not sure if they have and if you have posted such elsewhere.

They just got here an hour ago! <3 They're setting right now, hopefully their air cells reattach. I'll probably end up keeping them in the egg carton for the first few days of incubation just to be on the safe side. None of them have rolling air cells thank goodness, but one or two of them are really wonky.

A mallard? NO, I have never had a mallard, I have had the Rouens and calls, those are the only ducks I have ever had. Now I don't have any Rouens, haven't had them for about 2 years or so. I am only working with Calls..
