They just got here an hour ago! <3 They're setting right now, hopefully their air cells reattach. I'll probably end up keeping them in the egg carton for the first few days of incubation just to be on the safe side. None of them have rolling air cells thank goodness, but one or two of them are really wonky.

I would get them in right away..

NO problem, your good. ASK AWAY. if you see something else that I may have missed... LOL,

It's funny about the mallards because every year a wild pair would travel threw our yard, sit up at the front corner and I believe the Female was trying to nest there. Every year this couple would do the same routin. I was hoping she would lay eggs and I would kid nap them and throw them in my bator. But I never could find any.

In a way I was hoping they would see my ducks and want to stick around but they were way to wild. They would just make there rounds and off they would go.

YES, I would put them on the Turner in the bator right now. Keep them in the upright position and let them sit there for a few days. Slightly turn them from either front to back or left to right, not a huge turn. just slant once a day from sticking to the shell. About four maybe five days you should see development, if so then I would lay those down. Once they develop doesn't matter what that air cell is doing or looks like as that baby grows, the pressure will make it stick. LOL

TURNER OFF..

well thats how my mallard lines stay so a. pure, b. show quality, and c. mature quicker. They have wild mallard blood in them hal the time, i mean i have to go get the babies tested for the 100% mallard quality and stuff but its worth not haveing any genetic disabilities.
