can you post a picture of him? I think something's getting cross here. if he was a mauve splash then every hen he throws should turn out to be a chocolate based color

NO I'm not throwing any chocolates at all.. Blacks, Blue and splash, occassional his coloring but it's rare..

Ok so I had TWO new hens sitting on eggs, the first hen had 6 eggs, 2 were showing good signs, but i had to toss the other 4, they were pretty bad...

My second First timer hen had 8 eggs.

Both girls quit EARLY. well I was expecting this, first timers aren't always dependable.. But she did pretty good only ONE egg was bad, now I have them in the bator but got a problem, HAVE no clue when they started, so We are patiently waiting for them to DIP..

LOL, but if anyone gets offended, will get back on the Duck subject. LOL, It is pretty interesting. My fear is her coming back and saying "guess what, you don't have a lavender". I will DIE and then I will be EMAILING the person I got him from because he was NOT cheap...
