Call Ducks Finally Hatched

Wow Lacrystol. Awesome. They are so cute. Can you hold them now? I just love their round little heads.

I'm curious about the third pic, I don't recall seeing that color before? Perhaps another New color for me? Came from my snowy hen... She has several male friends in her group (I know don't even say it, she loves her love toys. LOL) a grey, and three butterscotch but that one doesn't look like either one.

Understand, when they internally pipped, they have about 20% air  in that shell before they run out, the estimated time is about 24 hours.  So if they internally pipped give them at least 24 hours before making the safe hole, if you do it to soon, the only risk to it is drying them out..

Well, now I'm nervous. I've lost one too many due to not having a safe hole BEFORE the hatch day, so I just didn't want to risk it. I waited 12-24 hours after they had internally pipped. I guess I'll be wetting membranes the next 24-36 hours. Wish me luck with my little ones.

I just realized the blue fawn in the third pic looks exactly like a duckling I lost when I was in Ohio last weekend. Coincidence? I think not, but she'd have to send it to me so I can see it in person to be sure.

You need to bring them. I can't leave home right now because I have ducks to look after, plus I told the hubby I'd make dinner every night this week. It would work out a lot better for both of us if you come here instead.

He's soo cute but the pic of the third guy OMG, HE"S CRAZY, he jumped out of the bator and into where I have baby chicks, he wanted to hang out with them instead of DUCKS? LOL
