Call Ducks Finally Hatched

OMG, I just realized, The third pic, her black spot on her nose BLENDS IN with my Jammies. HAHAHHAHAHAHA, can't even tell she has it.. HAHHAHAHA

I went back and re-read your post did you say "a snowy that you HAD?" do you not have it anymore??

Yes, had. I wasn't able to keep him because he was a drake. I loved that little guy like crazy and kept him for as long as I could, four months or so. We bonded more than all the others not because he was a snowy but because he had a very rough hatch. He was upside down in his egg, so I finally had to extract him from it. He stayed in a separate incubator for 3-4 days like we do with any of them that have a tough hatch before they go into the brooder.

I prayed and prayed (literally) that it would turn out to be a female so I could keep it, but that didn't happen. I didn't know until he was about a month old that he was male because I'm not comfortable with vent sexing Calls in the first couple of weeks since they're a little more fragile than other ducks. I still kept him around for about another three months until I could find the right family that had a great setup with a natural pond, and I cried when they took him away. He was the only one out of the 26 that I named. I named him Peanut right after he was hatched since that's a unisex name, and he knew his name. The lady who bought him still emails periodically to let me know how things are going.

HAHAHHAHA, but it's the girls that are sooooo noisy, they are the ones going "HAY, BUDDY GET OVER HERE"..   I even heard my girls say "Tap that A**".....

Okay, my boyfriend & me laughed out loud at the 'you even heard one of your girls say tap my a** part' Literally histerical. Your little butterscotch or snowy duckling is ADORABLE.

I just realized the blue fawn in the third pic looks exactly like a duckling I lost when I was in Ohio last weekend. Coincidence? I think not, but she'd have to send it to me so I can see it in person to be sure.
You know? You are right. You told me that a few days ago. She needs to send you the little webbed warmlet to confirm that indeed he is yours.

AWWWW that's sad, and I don't have a white male just a hen. But I'm glad he went to a good home. I believe your the first to have a white call from my flock. So that makes him DOUBLE special...

Well it's true, they are yapping all the time, LOL in fact one of them, sings everyday, but changes the words slightly, I was even considering to put her on American Idiol she's sooo good: Here's the song she sings.."I'm gonna Love you, UNTIL you hate ME and I'm gonna SHOW you, what's really Crazy, you should have know better, then to mess with me honey, I'm gonna Love you, I'm gonna Love you, I'm gonna Love you like a BLACK WIDDLE DUCKIE..".

I'll confirm, IT IS, I have him. HE"S SOOO CRAZY. OMG, this little stinker can JUMP and he's really super good at it. I open the door and sure enough he jumps out, hangs with me, then all night kept jumping in and out, in and out. He was having a BALL just jumping in and out of his cage. OMG, he's soooooo Funny.

All my ducks do that. I think that proves it's the one I lost.

Here's my babies this a.m. right after i cleaned their box, they are so cute, i especially love this little pied fellow, i'm hoping it's a fellow because i have 2 black bibbed wives for him, and curious to see what i'd get crossing pied and bibbed call ducks, maybe a magpie?
