Don't want to stress her out by bringing her all the way to my place after she has the calve. Apparently she's supposed to have heifer since they injected sexed semen into her so I won't have to worry about her having a bull

My boss got 70 bags of chicken feed and scratch, but none of it is for the chickens because she is selling it at auction. So what did the chickens get to eat you may ask. Well they got a moldy pie and a pumpkin pie. Also her personal flock was so hungry when I went out to fill their water pail (yes you read that right they drink out of a pail). They practically attacked their chicken feed they were so hungry. I’ve never seen such hungry chickens in my life. It was awful.

How sad, it sucks too since you work for her and you don't really want to say much about if you're worried about keeping that job. I was in the same situation when I worked at a slaughter house. the guy Kept his animals in horrible condition and under fed them so much. There would always be a new dead animal Everytime I went there. Some people really just shouldn't raise animals if you can't properly take care of them

Yes it really does suck! She feeds them garbage like rotten fruit, bread, pies, cakes, cupcakes with icing (!), some of the stuff is old or moldy. She keeps sometimes up to 103 chickens in an 8’x8 horse stall with one bucket of water for all of them. Her personal flock is kept in a 6’x6’ chain link dog kennel and I kid you not, but there is at least 1 foot of compacted dirt, feathers, & chicken poop in there. The smell that emanates from the “coop” is so strong! The chickens are sick and seem so sad. I would take them but they are sick and filthy.

WTF???? That is so irresponsible! Couldn't even open just ONE bag!?! Disgraceful!!! Crap like that pisses me off....

The chickens get some actual chicken feed, but the bulk of their diet is made up of the stuff I listed previously. Oh I forgot that sometimes they are fed pizza too.

I have never heard of sexed semen. had a lot of cows inseminated over the decades, that's a new one on me. Jersey are nice, but I still wouldn't want one with horns. Looking good.
