Well there's always something to all those old wives tales and ways. :)
Yes...She is I think in her 80s and has not many teeth. Loves Birds. Has always helped me. Not always correct but I love sharing with the poor old soul...:hugs

Hopefully when and if I'm old someone will be nice like that to me. :)
I hope so too..It doesn't take much time to make a person feel wanted and valued. I always tell her I needed her expert advice too..She loves it..:hugs
Many times she is correct though. :wee
She calls me Shanna...:idunno....:hugs

I'm getting worried if these eggs don't pip soon I'll be stuck with them in my Brooder box if they don't hatch before the window of opportunity to give them to her closes...:barnie
Weren't they all set within 2 days? Generally if they don't hatch by day 22 I get rid of them.

I guess you were not following. Elsa and Jenny started laying eggs in the crate too! :barnie..Staggered hatch. I tossed out 4 viable eggs but way to early. Yesterday I removed the last 3 eggs so Bonnie would begin to feed her 4 hatched. One egg was dead and these two are alive. I think the one is internally pipped but I'll know more tonight in the dark. :idunno
Definitely not an ideal situation at all...:barnie
