Understood and you'll do fine. Pick someone you're comfortable with and hang with them. When I was in DC, it was mandatory fun with the whole team. I hate mandatory fun, but I got through it.

I can deal with us... It's the corporate thing I hate. You know, get together sing kumiya and be friends with people you're thrilled never to see or speak to. Oh and copious amounts of alcohol must be consumed.
