Pond :D

You’re going to leave it like that?
It looks like Godzillas footprint.
LOL ikr?

its solid clay there (I tell you we can make pots from the stuff), and what happened was it was supposed to be a big triangular kinda thing, but we hit a drain pipe that we didnt know was there (and it wasnt doing its job either. I dont know where it starts even, somewhere in the middle of our *cough* very wet yard.....out water table is 2 feet and when it rains or snow melts.....yeah :p) so we hit that lil tiny thin plastic pipe and it started filling. and if you know anything about wet clay, well....its basically impossible to dig dirt out a hole filled with water, much less clay. and all we had was muscle power and to get in there we had to be IN the water and mud, and we were getting stuck and the water was getting just a lil too close to our knee high boots. time to pull out, pardon the pun :lau
so its not as deep as I wanted it, and theres that...thing sticking out....but its there now, plants can start growing, the grass around the border and grow in and settle (see the border we made of removed sod?) and if we want to make it deeper and maybe get rid of the lil spit thing, we can borrow a backhoe from a friend and do it that way

Do you guys crush up your eggshell sand feed them back to your chickens for calcium? Do you mix it with the oyster shell or mix it with their feed? Also do you guys feeder crumble or pellets to your chickens?
I feed crushed egg shells and oyster shell. I mix those up. I figure they are for the same purpose, but I don't mix it in the feed. I feed crumbles.
