Oh, forgot to mention. The hen does not roost. JellyBean lays in a nest box. Could that cause the issue too? I will continue to keep an eye on her.

Lays as in sleeps in a nest box? All my Brahmas slept in a nest box and I never had that problem.

Yes. I close off two of the nest boxes at night. She sleeps in the open one.
