Plans might have changed for chickens! I found some npip light brahmas, copper marans, and EE. It will be a drive for me, so need to do some research. I found some other chicks closer, but never got a response and it wasn't the breeds I had in mind either. But, this lady responded with pics of her flock!
Why do people post ads if they aren't going to respond? Ugh!

Any thoughts on the 3 breeds? I already know about brahmas and am going to guess that color doesn't change their normal temperament.

Also, my ducks and duckling plans might have changed a little too. I will know later today about that.

I wouldn't get any of those...It's totally up to you...

All hatched out and are alive! :celebrate I have 24 ducklings in total. I just set 12 call eggs 4 days ago, And hopefully I'll have 20 call duck eggs set by the 12th.

24 ducklings~! :woot:woot I can't wait to put them in the bath tub.

:gig I almost fell out of my chair laughing at this :lau

I'll keep you company until then ;)

:hugs Good luck with your flight. What I do to pass time is download a whole lot of adult chicken pictures and chick pictures and try to memorize the breed without looking at the name of the breed, Just based on looks.
Congrats on the hatch! :clap:woot

Easter Eggers are known to have sweet temperaments. I’m unsure about the Marans. I say go for it. You’ll have a colorful flock and egg basket.
