So much work ahead until they can be on their own. :th
They are probably terrified and in shock. We're they with momma duck up until you took them? It's pretty normal for them to be frightened especially if the were hatched by a hen.

It's not really a lot of work, just a lot of looking, and changing water and bedding. They will grow fast. When it warms where you are they can go out in the sunshine in a smaller fence. I put a 5 gallon bucket on it's side and it will heat up in the sun like a brooder.

These are chicks, but I would brood ducklings the same.
