Sorry, been busy, currently changing fish tank waters, gotta start my tomatoes today, and there's something in my bantam run, I hope it's still there, was terrorizing my bantam, I didn't get a good look at it, and hopefully it stays put until my husband gets home to take care of business.

Your ducklings are adorable. I'm glad you are getting a better hatch this time.
I'm thinking it was a muskrat, but I shut the pop hole very quickly. It was sitting in my hay bales tunnel that is there to block the winds, hopefully it stays there. I can see I will have to close up my run at least at night. Thanks for replying...I was worried about you...
Hope your Husband gets it today?....![]()
Yikes....I hate Muskrats...Got chased by one when I was about 8 years old. I had to climb up on the Car with my Brother..Bugger was making the scariest sounds too..I'm thinking it was a muskrat, but I shut the pop hole very quickly. That sucksHave you tried candling the rest or water test them? You could put safety holes in them

So sorry that happened...There was no movement and very dark when I candled them, so I opened the air cells and they had definitely died.
